The effective, non-invasive treatment targets both the skin and muscles for best results, in a procedure that lasts only 20 minutes for a full face.
Synchronised RF (Radiofrequency) will remodel and smooth the skin by heating the dermis, prompting the production of more collagen and elastin, two proteins responsible for youthful skin. At the same time, HIFES contracts the facial muscles, restoring the support of the muscles by increasing density and quality.
Emface may significantly reduce wrinkles, create a lifting effect and increase muscle tone, achieving a more lifted appearance.

The treatment protocol for emface is one a week for four weeks. Best results are generally seen 6-12 weeks following your last Emface treatment.
Although the results following your Emface are long term, they do not stop the natural ageing process. To maintain and further enhance results, we do suggest maintenance treatments every 3-4 months or a new treatment course every 12-18 months.

Upon arrival, our welcoming reception staff will greet you with collagen water as you complete necessary paperwork. You’ll then meet with your dermal therapist or registered nurse for a comprehensive consultation, which will include 2D & 3D imaging and customised treatment plan.
Your emface treatment will begin with our signature triple cleanse, followed by the emface treatment, which will go for 20 minutes. Emface is completely pain free, most patients describe it as a warm tingling sensation. After the emface has been completed, your treating practitioner will apply a custom blend of serums, moisturisers and SPF. Following your Emface, you will be provided with a post-care pack containing your treatment plan, post-care instructions, and schedule your next appointments.

As long as the Emface treatment is performed on suitable candidates, risks are quite minimal. Make sure that you discuss your health history and any conditions you may have, as well as disclose any medication you are currently taking, so that we can assess your suitability for treatment during a consultation.
Risks & complications
Like any cosmetic medical treatment, Emfaces carries risks and possible side effects. It’s important to engage in thorough discussions with a qualified practitioner before proceeding with treatment to fully understand the associated risks and benefits. Below are some typical side effects and risks linked to Emface:
- Redness, swelling, bruising, discomfort, pain, pigmentation issues, altered sensations, unsatisfactory outcomes, nerve damage.
Contraindications:
- Recent use of Roaccutane within 6 months, presence of cystic acne, open wounds, infections, active ulcers, psoriasis, eczema, or rashes, pregnancy, breastfeeding, electronic implants such as glucose monitors, pacemakers, or defibrillators, or permanent implants in the treatment area, cancer or a history of cancer, immunosuppressive diseases or medications, heart disease, epilepsy, uncontrolled hypertension, liver or kidney disease, herpes simplex in the treatment area, keloid scars, wounds, very dry skin, uncontrolled endocrine disorders such as diabetes or thyroid dysfunction.

Recovery
Emface is associated with no downtime, although you may notice that your skin can appear slightly red straight after the treatment. However, redness should subside within about five minutes. You should be able to resume your daily routine as normal, without discomfort or pain.
All of our treatment plans are personalised, so we may provide you with some recovery instructions if we feel you need to be cautious of anything post-treatment. One of our practitioners can discuss this with you during your consultation.

After your course of four Emface treatment sessions, your skin may begin to feel tighter, with results becoming visible at around four to six weeks after your last treatment. You may notice a firmer and healthier appearance to the skin, a more contoured and defined appearance, and less wrinkles and fine lines.
Thanks to the long-term effects of the treatment, you will continue to see improvements overtime, seeing a lasting change in the health and strength of your skin and facial muscles.
After a thorough consultation to discuss your desired results, one of our experienced practitioners will carefully place the Emface applicators in the right areas on your face. The applicators will stay flat on your face, like pads, and can operate hands-free. There are no needles or anything invasive on the applicators, as they work using synchronised RF (Radiofrequency) and HIFES energies.
The RF energy will heat up the dermal tissues, stimulating collagen and elastin fibres, while the HIFES will send thousands of pulses to contract the facial muscles, causing them to strengthen and tighten overtime. Treatments last for about 20 minutes, and may be repeated for three to four sessions to achieve the best results.
Most candidates with signs of ageing on the face can be suitable for Emface treatments, provided that they have realistic expectations as to what the procedure can achieve and would be committed to completing their recommended number of treatments. However, those who have implants or metal plates in their face will not be suitable for treatment. Ultimately, your suitability for treatment can be determined during a consultation.
