EMSCULPT NEO INFORMATION

Find out about Emsculpt NEO body contouring treatments at Inigo Cosmetic in Brisbane.

Emsculpt NEO works by delivering high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy (HIFEM+) and radio-frequency (RF) energy to area’s of the body to build muscle and burn fat.

High Intensity Focused Electromagnetic Energy (HIFEM+)

Through the delivery of thousands of electrical pulses, HIFEM+ energy works to rapidly contract the muscle fibres in the treated area. In fact, Emsculpt treatments may induce approximately 20,000 supramaximal contractions per session. This forces the muscles to adapt, leading to an increase in the number and size of muscle fibres and cells. According to clinical studies, this can increase muscle volume by up to 25 percent.

Radio Frequency Energy (RF)

Radiofrequency heating aims to raise the muscle temperature by several degrees. This prepares muscles for exposure to stress, similar to what a warmup activity may do before any workout. In about four minutes the temperature in subcutaneous fat aims to reach levels that cause apoptosis, i.e. fat cells are permanently damaged and slowly removed from the body. Clinical studies showed on average a 30% reduction in subcutaneous fat.*

Emsculpt Neo treatments can be used on various areas of the body with the aim to:

  • Burn fat
  • Increase muscle & tone
  • Improve skin laxity & crepey skin
  • Improve abdominal separation (diastasis recti)
  • Minimise stubborn pockets of fat

Emsculpt NEO treatments are designed to reduce fat and build muscle in all major muscle groups, including:

  • Arms (biceps & triceps)
  • Abdomen
  • Flanks (hips)
  • Buttocks
  • Thighs (front, back, outer and inner)
  • Calves

4-8 sessions, spaced 1 week apart

We generally recommend a course of four Emsculpt NEO sessions, 1 week apart. However, depending on your starting point and desired aesthetic goals we may recommend 6-8 sessions to begin with initially.

Best results are seen 6-12 weeks following your last Emsculpt NEO treatment. Once patients have completed their initial course of Emsculpt NEO, we do suggest doing a single maintence session every 3 months to maintain and further improve results.

Many patients begin to feel the results of their Emsculpt Neo treatments immediately after their first session. However, these results will only continue to improve in the following weeks. After you have completed your course of treatments, you can generally expect an increase in muscle tone and a noticeable reduction in fat. You may also feel physically stronger when you resume your regular exercise routines.

At Inigo Cosmetic, our mission has always been to deliver results-driven treatments within a luxurious and relaxing environment.

When you arrive at the clinic, our welcoming reception team will greet you and provide you with a refreshing collagen water while you fill out the necessary paperwork. Next, you’ll meet with your practitioner who will take you through for 2D & 3D imaging and carry out a thorough body contouring consultation.

At Inigo Cosmetic, we prioritise your comfort during treatments. Emsculpt Neo treatments are completely non-invasive, and most patients describe them as being relatively comfortable. We recommend coming to your session with an empty stomach and bladder. During your treatment, we will strap a paddle around your targeted area, through which HIFEM & RADIO-FREQUENCY (RF) energy will be delivered. While treatments should not be painful, you may experience intense muscle contractions and a slight heating sensation in the treated area, similar to a hot stone massage. Your Emsculpt NEO treatment will go for 30 minutes, in which you can sit back and relax, take a nap or watch some Netflix.

Following your Emsculpt NEO treatment, your treating practitioner will provide you with a post-care pack containing your recommended treatment plan, post-care instructions, and a schedule of your next appointments.

Emsculpt and Emsculpt Neo treatments are both non-surgical body contouring treatment that use high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy to burn fat and build muscle. However, Emsculpt Neo enhances the process by incorporating Radio Frequency (RF) energy, leading to more efficient fat burning and skin tightening. While Emsculpt contracts muscles equivalent to 20,000 crunches or squats in one session, Emsculpt Neo boosts this to 24,000 contractions. Additionally, Emsculpt Neo yields greater muscle mass increase (up to 25%) and fat loss (up to 30%).

Emsculpt NEO also has more applicators meaning we can treat more areas on the body.

Once fat cells have been destroyed by Emsculpt Neo treatments, they cannot return. However, if you were to gain weight following your treatments, your remaining fat cells may grow, potentially reversing your results.

A gain in muscle mass is not permanent, however periodic follow-up treatments or commitment to a diet and exercise routine can help you maintain your results.

To achieve the best results, most patients require a course of four-six treatments, spaced one week apart. To maintain this, many patients opt to have one treatment every 3-4 months.

While every patient is different, many begin to experience noticeable results within two to four weeks after completing their treatment sessions. These results will only improve over time as the body eliminates the destroyed fat cells. Maintence treatments are required.

If you are looking to reduce fat and add definition to your abdomen, buttocks, arms or thighs, Emsculpt Neo treatments may be the ideal solution for you. Treatments are suitable for patients with a BMI of up to 35. Please keep in mind that Emsculpt Neo is a body contouring treatment rather than a weight loss procedure, meaning that a healthy diet and exercise habits are required for the best results.
