Dermapen is a microneedling device that works by creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This process triggers the skin’s natural healing response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. As the skin heals, it may become firmer, smoother, and more even in texture.
Microneedling also helps to improve the absorption of topical skincare products, enhancing their effectiveness.

The treatment protocol for dermapen is a course of 4-6 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Best results are generally seen 6-12 weeks following your last Dermapen treatment.
Although the results following your Dermapen are long term, we may recommend maintence treatments or facials alongside to maintain or further enhance your dermapen microneedling results.
At Inigo Cosmetic, our goal is to provide results driven treatments in a luxurious and welcoming environment.
Upon arrival, our welcoming reception staff will greet you with collagen water as you complete necessary paperwork. You’ll then meet with your dermal therapist or registered nurse for a comprehensive consultation, which will include 2D & 3D imaging and customised treatment plan.
After a thorough consultation with one of our dermal therapists or registered nurses, we will begin your dermapen treatment with our signature triple-cleanse, followed by your dermapen needling treatment. We will finish your treatment off with the Dermapen Hyla active 3d sculptured mask. This mask is packed with stimulating, collagen-building copper peptides for visibly younger-looking skin, and healing properties to assist with cooling, calming and soothing your skin after your Dermapen treatment.
After the dermapen has been completed you will be provided with a post-care pack containing your treatment plan, post-care instructions, and schedule your next appointments.

If you are concerned by skin laxity (sagging), fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, pigmentation, scarring, acne, open pores, general skin luminosity, or are simply looking to improve your skin’s appearance, Dermapen treatments may be the ideal solution for you. However, the best way to determine whether this treatment is right for you, is to have a consultation at Inigo Cosmetic.
This will depend on your personal concerns. We recommend 3-6 treatments every 4 weeks, until you reach your desired results.
We recommend 4-6 weeks between treatments.
After your Dermapen treatment, you can expect mild redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising, this should fade within a few days. You may also notice some small dotted marks on the skin from the microneedles, which will crust and flake off in a day or two.
Following treatment, your skin will be more sensitive to the sun, so wearing an SPF 30+ or higher on a daily basis is essential. If desired, you will usually be able to apply makeup again two days post-treatment. Specific aftercare instructions will be given to you prior to treatment.
Dermapen can be used on the face or body to treat fine lines and wrinkles, ageing skin, acne scarring, stretch marks, pigmentation, open pores and overall skin rejuvenation.
This will depend on your concern. We generally recommend three-to-six treatments every four weeks until you reach your desired results.
Dermapen is a relatively quick and painless treatment. There may be some slight discomfort on areas such as the forehead and bridge of the nose.

Yes, Dermapen can improve scarring, depending on the severity. If your scarring is deeper, you may benefit with one of our other microneedling treatments, such as Morpheus8
Yes, breastfeeding and pregnant mums-to-be can have Dermapen, as we do not use numbing cream for this treatment.
