Morpheus8, developed by InMode, is a radio-frequency and microneedling device, that is designed to remodel and contour areas on the body such as the abdomen & buttocks. At Inigo Cosmetic, we utilise this advanced technology in specific areas of the body to deliver targeted radio-frequency to each skin layer, to stimulate collagen and elastin production, while remodelling fatty tissue. This may result in improved skin laxity, cellulite, stubborn fat pockets, stretch marks, and scars, enhancing the overall appearance and tone of the treated area.

Morpheus8 RF Microneedling body works by delivering precise radio frequency energy deep into the skin’s dermal layer on different areas of the body. This energy kickstarts dormant fibroblasts, encouraging the production of new collagen and elastin—the essential elements for achieving smoother and firmer skin on areas of the body.
The Morpheus8 Body treatment features a unique large surface tip with 40 thin micro-needles and a thermal profile of 7mm, including an additional heat profile of 1mm. This allows Morpheus8 RF Microneedling Body to efficiently treat larger tissue surface areas, reaching the deepest levels of RF energy. Designed for deep fractional coagulation and subcutaneous tissue, Morpheus8 Body is geared towards improving skin laxity, cellulite, stretch marks, scarring and contour irregularities on the body.

With time, your skin will begin to age again, at which point you may consider additional maintenance treatments. Once patients have completed their initial course of Morpheus8 RF microneedling, we do suggest doing a single maintence session every 6 months to maintain and further improve results.

Upon your arrival at the clinic, our friendly reception staff will extend a warm welcome, offering you collagen water as you complete necessary paperwork. Your journey will continue with a meeting with your dermal therapist or registered nurse, who will guide you through 2D & 3D imaging and conduct a comprehensive consultation.
At Inigo Cosmetic, we prioritise your comfort during treatments. All our Morpheus8 RF microneedling procedures include the application of a topical anesthetic. A specially compounded numbing cream, prescribed by our cosmetic doctor, is applied by our skilled nurses. This cream remains on for 45 minutes, giving you the opportunity to relax, perhaps by taking a nap or watching Netflix in the treatment room.
Once the numbing process is complete, your dermal therapist or registered nurse will initiate the 20-30 minute treatment, depending on the targeted area’s size. Following the procedure, your treating practitioner will apply a healing recovery balm and provide a post-care pack containing your recommended treatment plan, post-care instructions, and schedule your next appointments.
After your Morpheus8 bodytreatment, you can expect two to three days of downtime. Mild redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising are common side effects, however, this should generally fade within a few days. You may also notice some small, dotted marks on the skin from the microneedles, which will usually crust and flake off in a day or two.
Following treatment, your skin will be more sensitive to the sun, so wearing an SPF 30+ or higher daily is essential. Hot baths, showers and saunas should be avoided for at least 3-5 day. Specific aftercare instructions will be given to you prior to treatment.

Morpheus8 RF microneedling is generally considered a fairly safe and effective treatment, but like any medical procedure, it carries potential side effects and risks. It’s important to consult with a qualified practitioner before undergoing any treatment to understand your individual risks and benefits. Here are some common side effects and risks associated with Morpheus8 RF Microneedling:
- Redness, swelling, bruising, pain, discomfort, pigmentation, infection, scarring, altered sensations, unsatisfactory results, nerve damage, pigmentation & scarring.
It’s crucial to follow the pre & post-treatment care instructions provided by your treating practitioner and attend any follow-up appointments to monitor your progress and address any concerns. Make sure to disclose your medical history and any potential contraindications with your treating practitioner before undergoing Morpheus8 RF microneedling.
Contraindications
- Roaccutane within 6 months
- Cystic acne, open wounds, infections, active ulcers, psoriasis, eczema or rashes
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Individuals with an electronic implant, such as a glucose monitor, pacemaker or defibrillator, or a permanent implant in the treatment area
- Cancer or history of cancer
- Immunosuppressive diseases such as AIDS and HIV or use of immunosuppressive medications
- Heart disease, epilepsy, uncontrolled hypertension, and liver or kidney disease
- Herpes simplex in the treatment area
- Keloid scars, wounds, and very dry skin
- Uncontrolled endocrine disorders such as diabetes or thyroid dysfunction

Your results from your RF Microneedling are generally long lasting, however we do recommend maintence treatments to maintain your results. We recommend a maintence session of RF microneedling every six months once you have undergone your initial course.
