What is BIO-REMODELLING?
Bio-remodelling is an injectable skin treatment that that can result in the appearance of smooth, firm skin. Unlike alternative injectable treatments, bio-remodelling injections do not work as a volumiser for the face, but instead aim to act on the health of the skin from the inside out using your own biology.
Essentially, bio-remodelling gets its name from its ability to help remodel the skin’s makeup of proteins by stimulating existing cells to produce more collagen and elastin.
What can BIO-REMODELLING treat?
Bio-remodelling may address:
- Skin laxity
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Skin pigmentation
- Sun damage
Objectives of BIO-REMODELLING
Bio-remodelling was developed with a range of benefits that may include:
- Improve skin texture and elasticity: Bio-remodelling may result in tighter and smoother skin, reduce the appearance of pigmentation and sun damage, as well as laxity and wrinkles.
- Hydrate the skin: Due to the Bio-remodelling injection’s water-attracting properties, this treatment may increase the hydration of the skin leading to an overall increase in volume across the entire skin surface without changing facial contours.
- Treat multiple areas: Bio-remodelling can be used on several body parts including the face, neck, décolletage, hands, knees, elbows and stomach.
- Little to no downtime: You may go back to your work or usual activities straight after treatment.
What to expect
At the beginning of your treatment, a topical anaesthetic can be applied in the treatment area to reduce the sensation of the needles. The skin is then cleansed with antiseptic to remove any bacteria.
The bio-remodelling injections are precisely placed in ‘bio-aesthetic-points’ to facilitate the effects of the treatment. The number of injections that you will need, as well as their placement, will be discussed during a consultation before your treatment session. Dispersing into the skin, the product works to increase the hydration levels of the skin, as well as aid in stimulation of collagen and elastin production.
Treatments can take about 30 minutes. You will be able to resume your daily routine as normal, simply keeping a few aftercare tips in mind.
Your results
After your bio-remodelling session, you can generally start seeing results in about three weeks that continue to improve over time. Your skin will gradually start to feel firmer, with the appearance of wrinkles reduced.
The recommended treatment protocol involves more than one treatment, with an interval of six to nine months. The number of treatments can be discussed during your consultation before your first treatment.
Potential Risks and Side Effects
