What Is MINIFX?
MiniFX, developed by InMode, is a non-invasive treatment that delivers radiofrequency energy to improve blood circulation and disperse heat to the deep tissue of the skin. Ideal for small areas of the body, such as the face, neck, arms and knees, MiniFX works to minimise cellulite, reduce stubborn fat and firm the appearance of the skin.
MiniFX treatments work by breaking down fat cells and stimulating collagen production to firm the skin. You will begin to notice improvements in your skin’s appearance following two or three treatments, which will only continue to gradually improve with time and additional treatments.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During your MiniFX treatment, your dermal therapist will move the treatment applicator across the skin, making stamp-like movements. This applicator lightly pulls small sections of the skin up in order to transfer radiofrequency energy through the skin and underlying fat. This causes the tissues to heat and contract, triggering a cellular breakdown. Once the targeted area has reached the right temperature, negative pressure suction and controlled energy pulses work together to smooth out stubborn fat pockets and reshape the body.
MiniFX treatments also work to trigger collagen and elastin production, which tightens and firms loose skin. In turn, this helps reduce the appearance of cellulite and improves fat loss results. With time, fat cells are removed through the body’s natural waste disposal mechanisms.
Most patients find MiniFX treatments to be quite comfortable. You may experience a deep warmth and a pulling sensation, however, this is normal and fades soon after treatment.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If you are looking to reduce the appearance of mild to moderate cellulite, firm lax skin and address small pockets of stubborn fat, MiniFX treatments may be the ideal solution for you. In particular, this treatment is best suited to those who wish to target those smaller, harder to reach areas. The best way to determine whether this treatment is right for you is to have a consultation at Inigo Cosmetic.
For best results, we usually recommend around six to eight treatments, spaced weekly. To maintain this over the long term, we may suggest occasional follow-up treatments, along with a healthy diet and exercise routine.
There is absolutely no downtime following a MiniFX treatment, meaning that you are free to resume your regular activities immediately afterwards. You may experience some redness, warmth or light bruising in the treated area, however, this will subside within a few days.
At Inigo Cosmetic, we customise our treatments to each individual patient. Depending on the severity of your personal skin concerns, you may require more or less MiniFX treatments. To receive a detailed cost breakdown, please get in touch to book a consultation at Inigo Cosmetic.
