What is an Exosome Facial?

The Exosome facial is a cosmetic facial treatment that involves topical exosome application with a microneedling device to deliver exosomes into the skin. Exosomes are acellular molecules that carry critical cellular communication information from one cell to another. These molecules may encourage cell turnover and promote the body’s natural skin healing processes which aim to repair and strengthen the skin.

Exosomes may also stimulate collagen and elastin production to address skin texture, skin quality and skin tone.

To learn more about Exosome skin therapy at our Brisbane clinic, we invite you to book a Dermal consultation.

EXOSOME INFORMATION

Find out about Exosome Therapy at Inigo Cosmetic in Brisbane.

Exosomes are acellular molecules produced by most healthy cells. They may be thought of as messengers sending cellular communication information between cells, triggering cellular cascades which may lead to increased cell turnover and the promotion of the body’s natural skin healing processes. Exosomes are designed to encourage new cells to awaken inactive or older cells so they may help address skin and scalp repair and promote hair growth. To address hair characteristics, it may be recommended that you combine Exosomes with Healite, PRP and / or medication.

Exosomes may be used topically on their own or combined with other treatments such as microneedling, often used on the face, neck, décolletage or scalp to address:

  • Collagen and elastin production
  • Skin elasticity
  • Inflammation
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Pigmentation
  • Skin laxity
  • Acne scarring
  • Pore size
  • Hair growth

Skin: Patients may often see results after just one treatment, however the recommended protocol for Exosome skin applications is generally four treatments, spaced four weeks apart.  Additional sessions may be undertaken once every six months to maintain and support results.

Hair growth: The recommended protocol for Exosome scalp applications is four treatments, spaced two weeks apart. Additional sessions may be undertaken every six months to maintain and support results.

At Inigo Cosmetic our mission has always been to deliver results-driven treatments with touches of relaxation in a luxurious environment.

Upon your arrival at the clinic, our reception staff will welcome you, offering you collagen water and assisting you to complete necessary paperwork. Your treating practitioner will greet you, taking you through for a thorough consultation with 2D and 3D imaging before beginning your treatment.

The Exosome facial begins with a double cleanse, followed by Dermapen microneedling with an infusion of exosomes. The exosomes need to stay on the skin for at least ten minutes to allow for full absorption. Your practitioner will finish your treatment by applying a recovery balm and SPF cream. The Exosome facial should take approximately 45 minutes.

Following the procedure your treating practitioner will provide you with a post-care pack containing your recommended treatment plan, post-care instructions and book you in your next appointment.

Depending on your aesthetic goals, your practitioner may suggest incorporating exosomes into your existing treatment regimen with the aim of supporting the results of your chosen therapy. Exosome application after advanced skin treatments aims to reduce downtime by supporting the healing phase and addressing inflammation. As exosomes are applied topically, they are able to be integrated into the majority of facial or body treatments.

Exosomes may be utilised with:

  • RF Microneedling (Morpheus8 or Exion)
  • Exion RF Ultrasound
  • Bio-remodelling treatments
  • Glass Facial
  • Skin Health Facials
  • Dermapen
