Glass Facial BRISBANE

The Glass Facial, also known as the Korean Glass Skin Facial, is a cosmetic skin treatment which aims to reduce skin laxity and pore size, improve texture, tone, and clarity, soften fine lines and wrinkles as well as increase skin hydration.

Experience the Glass Facial at Inigo Cosmetic in Brisbane. It’s the perfect treatment before an event or wedding or for anyone looking for healthy, bright and hydrated looking skin.

What is a Glass Facial?

The Glass Facial is a cosmetic treatment designed to infuse skin with a combination of hydrating agents, nutrients, antioxidants, peptides, amino acids, minerals, and vitamins.

One component of the Glass Facial stimulates collagen and elastin production, increases hydration, helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and enhances overall skin quality – including texture, tone, clarity, and laxity. The second component focuses on reducing pore size and skin laxity, as well as reducing facial redness, such as rosacea and flushing, by constriction of capillaries and control of excess sebum/oil production.

The Glass Facial combines two treatments in one. The first treatment is a blend of hydrating agents, peptides, amino acids, and antioxidants that are designed to stimulate collagen and elastin production, increase skin hydration, and address skin tone, texture, and clarity. The second component focuses on reduction in several areas: pore size, superficial fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity, facial redness and excess sebum/oil.

The Glass Facial is often used on the face, neck or décolletage with the aim to:

  • Increase skin hydration
  • Reduce skin laxity
  • Increase skin firmness and elasticity
  • Reduce superficial facial redness (rosacea)
  • Reduce excess sebum/oil production
  • Reduce pore size
  • Address skin characteristics such as texture, tone, and clarity
  • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
  • Stimulate collagen and elastin production
  • Reduce the appearance of acne scarring

The recommended treatment protocol involves three treatments with a four to six week interval.

At Inigo Cosmetic, our mission has always been to deliver results-driven treatments with elements of relaxation.

Upon your arrival at the clinic, our friendly reception staff will extend a warm welcome, offering you collagen water and assisting you to complete necessary paperwork. Your doctor or registered nurse will greet you, taking you through for a thorough consultation, 2D and 3D imaging, followed by a zoom call with a doctor (for appointments with a nurse only).

At Inigo Cosmetic, we prioritise your comfort during treatments. All of our Glass Facial treatments include the application of a topical anaesthetic. The anaesthetic remains on for about 45 minutes, giving you the opportunity to relax or watch a movie.

Once the numbing process is complete, your doctor or nurse will cleanse your skin, initiate the Glass Facial treatment which will take approximately 30 minutes and follow on with a Healite II LED light therapy session and finishing products. Following the procedure, your treating practitioner will provide you with a post-care pack containing your recommended treatment plan, post-care instructions and book you in your next appointment.

At Inigo Cosmetic, we take pride in our approach to the Glass Facial, which we believe sets us apart. We prioritise quality, safety and results.

  • Instead of using a micro-injection ampoule, we use the V2 injector for precise and controlled application, with the added benefit of stimulating collagen and elastin production.
  • Attention to detail: Our team is dedicated to using the most advanced techniques and products available.

When choosing a practitioner for your Glass Facial, we recommend enquiring about the type of products being used and the amount delivered.

The recommended treatment protocol involves additional Glass Facial treatments at six month intervals; If being performed before a special event, the Glass Facial is recommended at least two weeks prior to the event.
