Find out about Morpheus8 RF microneedling face treatments at Inigo Cosmetic in Brisbane.
Morpheus8 is an advanced skin & body treatment, that combines microneedling with radio-frequency (RF) energy to address characteristics of the skin. Morpheus8 RF Microneedling is designed to address the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity, lower face ptosis, acne scarring, surgical scarring and act on the overall texture and tone of the skin.
With microneedling, tiny punctures are made in the skin’s surface, aiming to stimulate collagen and elastin production. Concurrently, RF energy is delivered deep into the dermis, prompting controlled thermal injury, encouraging collagen remodelling. Morpheus8 allows for customisable depth and energy levels tailored to individual needs.

After undergoing the Morpheus8 RF microneedling session, it is typical to experience two to three days of downtime. Common side effects include mild redness, swelling, tenderness, and bruising, which usually subside within a few days. Additionally, you may observe small, dotted marks on the skin from the microneedles, which typically crust and flake off within 7-14 days.
Following the procedure, your skin will be more sensitive to sunlight, necessitating the daily application of SPF 30+ or higher. It is advisable to refrain from hot baths, showers, and saunas for at least 3-5 days. Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided prior to your treatment session.
Depending on your specific treatment goals, we may recommend serums to complement your Morpheus8 treatment. For a comprehensive list of our recovery and aftercare guidelines, please refer to our non-surgical pre & post-treatment page.
Recovery
After your Morpheus8 RF Microneedling treatment, you may usually expect two to three days of downtime. Mild redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising are common side effects, however, this should generally fade within a few days. You may also notice some small, dotted marks on the skin from the microneedles, which will usually crust and flake off in a day or two.
Following treatment, your skin will be more sensitive to the sun, so wearing an SPF 30+ or higher daily is essential. If desired, you will be able to apply makeup again two days post-treatment. Specific aftercare instructions will be given to you prior to treatment.
Your practitioner may recommend iS Clinical Sheald Recovery Balm be applied to the treated area for 3-5 days following your Morpheus8 RF Microneedling treatment.

Morpheus8 RF Large area: $799
Morpheus8 RF Small area (scar, neck, eyes): $599
Following the Morpheus8 treatment, you can usually expect to notice an initial change in the texture of your skin within a few days. However, collagen and elastin production take time, meaning that it may take up to three months for your results to fully appear. Such results may continue to improve for up to a year.
While Morpheus8 results are generally long-lasting, they do not stop the natural ageing process. Over time, your skin will begin to show visible signs of ageing again, at which point you may consider additional maintenance treatments.
Prior to treatment, your dermal therapist will prepare the treatment area and a topical anaesthetic may be applied to the skin. The Morpheus8 hand-piece will be passed over the skin, inviting a series of insulated microneedles to deliver radio-frequency energy into the skin. Using multiple depth settings, this process aims to address each layer of the skin, including the deeper layers and resurface the upper layers.
Morpheus8 treatments are usually well-tolerated by patients, but you may expect to feel some discomfort during the procedure. Expect your treatment to take around 30 to 60 minutes to complete, depending on the size of the treatment area.
