EMSCULPT NEO INFORMATION
Find out about Emsculpt NEO treatments at Inigo Cosmetic in Brisbane.
Emsculpt NEO works by delivering high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy (HIFEM+) and radio-frequency (RF) energy to areas of the body.
High Intensity Focused Electromagnetic Energy (HIFEM+)
Through the delivery of thousands of electrical pulses, HIFEM+ energy works to rapidly contract the muscle fibres in the treated area. In fact, Emsculpt treatments may induce approximately 20,000 supramaximal contractions per 30 minute session. According to clinical studies, this can increase muscle volume by up to 25 percent.
Radio-Frequency Energy (RF)
Radio-frequency heating aims to raise the muscle temperature by several degrees. This prepares muscles for exposure to stress, similar to what a warmup activity may do before any workout. In approximately four minutes the temperature in the subcutaneous fat aims to reach levels that result in apoptosis, i.e. adipose cells are permanently damaged and slowly removed from the body. Clinical studies demonstrated on average a 30% reduction in subcutaneous fat.*
Emsculpt Neo treatments can be used on various areas of the body to:
- Increase muscle mass & tone
- Address skin laxity & thin skin
- Address abdominal separation (diastasis recti)
- Address adipose deposits
Emsculpt NEO treatments are designed to act on all major muscle groups, including:
- Arms (biceps & triceps)
- Abdomen
- Flanks (hips)
- Buttocks
- Thighs (front, back, outer and inner)
- Calves

Emsculpt and Emsculpt Neo treatments are both non-surgical body contouring treatment that use high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy to address fat and muscle tissue. However, Emsculpt Neo also incorporates Radio-Frequency (RF) energy. While Emsculpt contracts muscles 20,000 times in one session, Emsculpt Neo increases this to 24,000 contractions. According to clinical evidence, Emsculpt Neo yields greater muscle mass increase (up to 25%) and adipose reduction (up to 30%).
The Emsculpt NEO platform also has a wider variety of applicators meaning we can treat more areas of the body.
Once adipose cells have been treated by Emsculpt Neo treatments, they cannot return. However, if you were to gain weight following your treatments, your remaining adipocytes may grow, potentially reversing your results.
A gain in muscle mass is not permanent, however periodic follow-up treatments or commitment to a diet and exercise routine can help you maintain your results.
While every patient is different, many begin to notice results within two to four weeks after completing their treatment sessions. These results may improve over time.
Treatments are suitable for patients with a BMI of up to 35. Please keep in mind that Emsculpt Neo is a body contouring treatment rather than a weight loss procedure, meaning that a healthy diet and exercise habits are required for the best results.
The best way to determine whether Emsculpt NEO is appropriate for you is to have a consultation with one of the practitioners at Inigo Cosmetic in Brisbane.
